March Fun!

I started the shower for the girls one night then ran to get towels....I came back to this happy girl!

A little St. Patrick's Day craft we had fun making.

Happy Birthday Bethany!!! She's 5! We have been learning about writing your initials and writing abbreviations in homeschool, so she thought it would be special to have her initials on her cake instead of her name. :)

Ashley and Bethany pose by their chariots and their faithful chariot riders as part of our unit on the Hyksos. One of the rules for our chariot race was that your rider had to stand up the entire race.
After a few Saturdays practicing with Jared, she got it..riding with no training wheels!
We learned about the Phoenicians (who did glass blowing, popularized purple dye, were master sailors around the Mediterranean, etc.), so we made some Phoenician bread. Yum!
For one of Jared's Daddy Daughter Dates this month he did the shaving-cream-in-the-bathtub night. Above, the girls prepare by getting in their bathing suits. Below, Kailey really is happy...she looks a little wild with her blue hair and "say cheese" mouth. This really is a fun activity to do...shaving cream in the bathtub with different food coloring added. It keeps them busy for a good hour or so and is easy clean up since you're already in the tub. :)

To welcome in Spring (as it was snowing!), we did some glitter art...here are our masterpieces....they **sparkle** lots  more in real life.
