A few recent tidbits:

Here's the latest find from our garden. I'm not sure why this one was so big. It was in the middle of the row, so maybe it soaked up more water. It made a huge bowl of cooked carrot(s) that we had over two nights. And it was super tasty!






Ashley found my swim cap on the couch one morning and put it on all by herself. She loves hats, so this fit right in.

Conversation at lunch a few days ago:


Ashley: Is Dad home, Mom?
Mom: No, Dad isn't coming home until dinner.
Ashley: Oh. Poor little thing.
