Our New Life

Jared's done with his MBA! Woo-hoo! The girls and I had fun making a little display and sign for him when he arrived home from his last day of school! The first one read: Your Old not-so-much-of-a-Life.

Then we had a sign that said: Your New Life. On that table were fun decorations, projects, treats, books, games, and other things to occupy Jared's new life. :)

We also made this sign and had it hanging on the garage door when he pulled up.

Way to go, Jared!

The B Board...

We're in a fun routine of talking about the date, season, and weather every day. Recently we've added a letter of the week (known as the B Board) and our summer reading charts from the library. Our B board was so popular we left it up for two weeks, but now we've moved on to our D board. Ashley thinks of new things all the time for each one and is excited for our next letter. She loves doing the alphabet in sign language, so I was excited to find a place where I can download a picture of the sign for each letter. It's been lots of fun and keeps us thinking.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

One of the fun things we've been doing is a shaving cream party. The girls love it and we have fun mixing colors, drawing shapes and letters, and getting up to our elbows (or knees in Bethany's case) in shaving cream.
