My How the Time Flies

I love every stage of the first year. Here's a photo highlight of the last two months.

Explosions!

Well, it's bound to happen at least once. This was Bethany's first bilateral explosion...meaning up the front and the back. I was in the garage talking to Jared when it happened. It exploded up the front and back and started dripping. I guess the garage was actually a good place for me to be. So, we grabbed a Wal-Mart bag and stuck her in it. Jared still claims it wasn't as bad as Ashley's explosion in Central Park. That could be true. Maybe she still holds the record. Hey, at least they're happy girls through it all!

Back in the Saddle Again

So today I ran. Not very much. In fact, not much at all. I looked at the time and distance on the treadmill and realized I wasn't going to make my goal unless I ran for the last tenth of a mile. So I ran. It was hard. I have a long way to go. Let's just hope a mugger doesn't come after me this week.

My Little Helper

Thanks to Aunt Linda for supplying Ashley with some fun things to keep her busy while we work outside. She loves digging in the dirt, collecting leaves, and holding rocks. But most of all, she loves.....her watering can. She kept busy for almost two hours with just the hose and her watering can. Ah, the simple pleasures of life.
